As long as I can remember, I have been Interested in the arts. In elementary school I began taking art classes to learn about light, shading, and art mediums. I continued this path of learning through middle school, as I narrowed down my medium of choice to photography and the graphic arts.

     I began photography classes when I was 11 years old, and consistently grew my knowledge and passion for several years. I ended formal classes for photography when Covid-19 closed the schools, and I began pursuing knowledge in a more hands on way, taking photoshoots of my peers as a way of learning. 

​

     I created my business when I was 14 years old, utilizing my high school years to learn about the world of business and photography. I spent a significant amount of time working for my mother in her self owned business, utilizing her knowledge and drive to gain an understanding of how to run a successful business before venturing out on my own.

​

     Unfortunately, I had to put my photography business on hold while I spent my mornings working towards my degree in graphic design and working evenings and weekends as a barista to fund my education. I graduated early, magna cum laude, with an associate degree in graphic design from Delta College of Arts & Technology. 

​

     Now, I am equipped with my degree and life experience, and I work for myself as a graphic designer and photographer. I live in Baton Rouge, LA with my two loving dogs and beautiful cat. I continue to host a biweekly bible study, and continue to take a stronger leadership role within that community.
